Jackie Chivers
Jackie is a trained lecturer, counsellor and mediator. Being a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) she has worked for over twelve years in the education, youth provision and voluntary sectors with adults, children and young people both individually and in group settings. She holds a first class BA (Hons) in Counselling Studies from York St John University and has undertaken a variety of training since qualification, including Focusing Oriented Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Sedona Method Coaching, Transactional Analysis and is currently working towards an MSc in Psychology of Trauma. Jackie specialises in Sandplay Therapy, Trauma Issues and Emotional Releasing.
Jane Hallett
As a Senior Accredited Member of the BACP, Jane has been counselling full time for over 25 years. Her experience in educational settings includes having worked as a Senior Counsellor, Lecturer and Head of Counselling in the Further, Higher and University sectors.Jane has also worked as a consultant to Counselling and Student Services in the sector . She has experience in the voluntary and commercial sectors and in primary care, along with experience of organisational dynamics and stresses, particularly in relation to change.
Jane has served as an assessor on the BACP's Accreditation Scheme, as an assessor on the Association for University and College Counsellors Service Recognition Scheme and on their Research Committee. She holds a Diploma in Counselling and Guidance from the University of Reading and has extensive Gestalt Psychotherapy and Supervision training. Jane is also experienced in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Transactional analysis.
Chris Reed
Chris is a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist who trained at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. He has completed several additional specialist courses including migraine management and stress management and has completed four years counselling training at Swansea University. He runs his own private practice www.hypnotismworks.com and is manager of, and a counsellor for, the LGBT helpline.
